atelier de mise en \u0153uvre du m\u00e9morandum d&rsquo;entente entre l&rsquo;Institut Parlementaire du B\u00e9nin (IPaB) et l&rsquo;institut National des \u00c9tudes D\u00e9mocratiques et L\u00e9gislatives (NILDS) du Nig\u00e9ria; m\u00e9morandum sign\u00e9 \u00e0 Abuja en novembre 2024. \u00c0 cette occasion, une d\u00e9l\u00e9gation du NILDS avec \u00e0 sa t\u00eate le professeur Abubakar O. Sulaiman Directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral dudit institut a effectu\u00e9 le d\u00e9placement de Cotonou. Faut-il le rappeler, ledit m\u00e9morandum d&rsquo;entente vise \u00e0 accompagner les deux parlements dans la recherche parlementaire, la formation et le renforcement des capacit\u00e9s, et \u00e0 collaborer sur des projets d&rsquo;\u00e9tudes qui renforcent la d\u00e9mocratie et la bonne gouvernance.<\/p>\n<p>Dans un premier temps, c&rsquo;est Dr Romaric AKPOVO, Directeur adjoint de l&rsquo;IPaB qui a pris la parole pour souhaiter la bienvenue aux participants sp\u00e9cialement \u00e0 la d\u00e9l\u00e9gation de NILDS avant de pr\u00e9ciser l&rsquo;importance que rev\u00eat ledit atelier pour l&rsquo;IPaB: \u00ab\u00a0&#8230;C\u2019est pour moi un honneur de vous souhaiter tr\u00e8s cordialement la bienvenue \u00e0 cet atelier de mise en \u0153uvre du m\u00e9morandum d\u2019entente entre l\u2019IPaB et le NILDS. C\u2019est un grand \u00e9v\u00e9nement qui constitue l&rsquo;aboutissement d&rsquo;un travail collectif consid\u00e9rable entrepris depuis janvier 2025, quand le Conseil d\u2019orientation de l\u2019IPaB, a recommand\u00e9 lors de l&rsquo;adoption de son Plan de Travail Annuel, une mise en \u0153uvre efficiente et sans d\u00e9lai, du m\u00e9morandum d&rsquo;entente entre les deux instituts, sign\u00e9 le 5 novembre 2024 \u00e0 Abuja au Nig\u00e9ria&#8230;\u00a0\u00bb a-t-il dit.<\/p>\n<p>A son tour, le Professeur Abubakar O. Sulaiman Directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de NILDS a d&rsquo;abord a remerci\u00e9 particuli\u00e8rement le premier vice-pr\u00e9sident de l&rsquo;Assembl\u00e9e nationale du B\u00e9nin l&rsquo;honorable Barth\u00e9l\u00e9my KASSA pour sa pr\u00e9sence \u00e0 l&rsquo;atelier. Il n&rsquo;a pas manqu\u00e9 de faire un clin d&rsquo;\u0153il aux autorit\u00e9s administratives de l\u2019Assembl\u00e9e nationale pr\u00e9sentes notamment Moukaram Badarou, Directeur adjoint de cabinet du Pr\u00e9sident de l&rsquo;Assembl\u00e9e nationale et Cl\u00e9ment Ebo Houinnou S\u00e9cr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral administratif adjoint de l&rsquo;Assembl\u00e9e nationale. Il a profit\u00e9 pour dire toute sa gratitude aux responsables de l&rsquo;IPaB pour l&rsquo;accueil depuis leur arriv\u00e9e \u00e0 Cotonou et les bonnes dispositions prises pour leur s\u00e9jour. Il a martel\u00e9 que son \u00e9quipe est venue au B\u00e9nin pour sceller le m\u00e9morandum sign\u00e9 \u00e0 Abuja afin de permettre au NILDS et l&rsquo;IPaB de bien collaborer pour le bonheur des deux institutions.<\/p>\n<p>Avant de proc\u00e9der \u00e0 l&rsquo;ouverture de l&rsquo;atelier, le premier vice-pr\u00e9sident de l&rsquo;Assembl\u00e9e nationale du B\u00e9nin l&rsquo;honorable Barth\u00e9l\u00e9my KASSA a dit combien il \u00e9tait honor\u00e9 de repr\u00e9senter le Pr\u00e9sident de l&rsquo;Assembl\u00e9e nationale Louis Gb\u00e8hounou VLAVONOU emp\u00each\u00e9. Il a \u00e9galement rappel\u00e9 que c&rsquo;est un grand \u00e9v\u00e9nement qui vient t\u00e9moigner de la qualit\u00e9 de la coop\u00e9ration entre le B\u00e9nin et le Nig\u00e9ria.
